Hume Brophy sponsors Charity Ball

Bubblegum Charity Fundraiser Surpasses Target

A Charity Ball was held recently in Dublin’s Burlington Hotel in aid of the Bubblegum Club, with over 750 guests attending the black-tie event.

It was organised by a committee of young professionals in Dublin who chose the Bubblegum club as the beneficiary due to the work that the charity carries out with children throughout the country.

Committee member Séamus Murphy said, “The event was a huge success and with Hume Brophy’s help, we surpassed our fundraising target raising almost €30,000”.

The Bubblegum Club uses all monies raised through events like the Black-Tie Ball, to allow children who are suffering from long term debilitating illnesses have extraordinary days out. The charity, founded by Peter Harris in 1994, has catered to more than 15,000 children, providing each child with a unique and unforgettable experience.

Séamus Murphy concluded by saying; “Without support from organisations like Hume Brophy, the charity, and others like it, would simply not be able to continue this important work”.
